Propel FAQ

How do I get started?
To get started, choose your program from our selection, sign up, download the Train Heroic app, and gain immediate access. You can get started with your first workout and track your progress right away.

Is there a trial period?
Yes! Your subscription starts with a 7-day free trial that gives you full access to our programming. After the trial ends, you’ll automatically be billed unless you cancel before the trial period ends.

What Propel Program is right for me?
Great question! 
Propel Athlete is for anyone looking to improve power, fitness, and overall athleticism. Whether you're focused on training for sport, or general fitness, this program helps you level up your performance. 
Propel Competitor is for athletes wanting to compete in functional fitness. This program is designed for all experience levels, from beginner to elite, with scaling options to match your ability. While some CrossFit experience is helpful, it’s adaptable for anyone motivated to push their limits. 
Propel Home is for those with limited time or equipment who still want a consistent, engaging program. It’s perfect for staying active and challenged, no matter where you train. 

How is Propel different from the Professor Project?
The Professor Project was created to give athletes access to Brent Fikowski’s exact training for the CrossFit Games. That program still exists, now called Propel Competitor and is built on the same principles that brought Brent over a decade of success in the sport.
Propel is the next chapter. We’ve expanded beyond competitive fitness to support a wider range of athletes and training goals. The first new addition is Propel Athlete, which blends functional fitness with dynamic movement and fresh training methods. 

Who writes the programming?
Our team of expert coaches work collaboratively with Brent Fikowski to write all the programs. To learn more about our Propel Team click here.

What equipment do I need?
Every program is different, click on the program you're interested in to see a list of equipment requirements: Propel Competitor, Propel Athlete, Propel Home.

Can I switch my subscription to a different program?
Yes! If you’re on a monthly or annual subscription and want to switch programs, just email support@trainheroic.com, and their team will assist you with the transition. If there’s a price difference, your billing will be adjusted and we’ll keep you informed of any changes.

Do you offer bundle options for programs?
Yes! Please reach out to us at team@thepropelprogram.com and we’d be happy to help.

Where do I access my training after signing up?
All Propel programs are delivered through the TrainHeroic app. After signing up, you'll receive a welcome email with instructions on how to download the app, access your workouts, track your progress, and engage with the Propel community.

How do I get support with the TrainHeroic app?
If you're having trouble, check out the TrainHeroic Help Center for troubleshooting tips and solutions. If you're still having issues, don't hesitate to reach out to us at team@thepropelprogram.com and we'll assist you directly.

Can I pause my subscription?
Unfortunately, there isn’t a built-in “pause” feature. However, if you need to take a break due to injury or other circumstances, you can cancel your subscription at any time and rejoin later when you’re ready.
